A date!
I have a date lined up, can you believe it? What’s it been like two months? I’ll give you all the details at the end of the week…unless it goes really well ![]()

I found this article on MSN that basically went over things you shouldn’t talk about on a first date. The funny thing is I can specifically remember a number of dates who have done at least one of these things. I find the past relationship topic comes up a lot, even I am guilty of that one. Punky good thing you’re in a relationship because I think you would have some trouble with # 5. I think I’m gonna do a little thinking and come up with a list of my own, what not to do or say on a first date. Hmmm…

I finally figured out who my secret Valentine was, although I had my suspicions. But mmmm, a box of Godiva truffles…so bad for my waistline! Thank you (you know who you are)!

Well my Valentine’s Day was better than I ever would have hoped for. I got some heart shaped, brownies from a co-worker, some lollipops and a cookie from another. My Dad brought me roses and some caramel Hershey kisses, and then I had chocolate cake and coffee with a couple of girlfriends this afternoon. I spent the evening with my little brothers and sister while my parents went out to dinner to celebrate their 30something Valentine’s Day together. My four year old brother kept asking me to be his Valentine, and we made chocolate covered strawberries and stayed up past bedtime. So I guess the moral of the story is, you don’t need to have a special someone to enjoy Valentine’s Day, as long as you have a bunch of special someones…oh, and chocolate always helps! ![]()

And no I’m not talking about venereal disease folks. We’ll save that topic for another time. But judging from my Inbox it seems that I am supposed to have some sort of an opinion on this beloved holiday.
So here goes, Valentine’s Day: Not for me.
But hey, do whatever you gotta do to get yourself laid.

I’m thinking of changing the name of my blog to Linnea is done dating, or maybe www.linneadoesntdate.com. Not much happening in the dating category lately, it’s been kind of nice, although I’m sure it’s boring to those of you who actually come here to read about dates.
On a side note, I’m very upset that Will gets Taye Diggs now, first Stella now him. I’m sure I’d get my groove back too if it was with Taye Diggs!
